How it works:
What is Crowdini?
Crowdini is a free question and answer knockout game. You answer one question a day and if your answer is the majority answer you continue on in the game. The game ends when there is only one person left. That last person wins a prize.
Can you give me an example?
For example if the question was “Do you prefer Red or Blue?” And the results where 60% of the people answered Blue and 40% of the people answered Red. Blue would be the majority answer and anybody who answered Blue would move on in their game to the next day.
How is the Majority determined?
No matter what game you are in everyone answers the same question. Since everybody who plays answers the same question, the majority is determined by all answers across all active games.
When do the questions open and close?
The day’s question opens at 7 am eastern (4 am pacific) and stay open until 6:58 am eastern the next day. Each day at 7 am eastern results from the previous question are posted to the Stats page.
How often does a game start?
How long does the game last?
A new game starts everyday at 7 am eastern. Games last until there is only one player left. You can check the average length of the games on the Stats page.
Do you notify players of the results?
Yes, we send out a daily email with the question results and the new question of the day. You have the option to turn off these email notifications in your user profile.
Who is eligible to play?
The requirements to play are: USA resident, 18 years old and above, has only one Crowdini account.
Can I have more than one account?
Only one account allowed per person. If we find out that you have multiple accounts you will be disqualified immediately, no exceptions.
Can my spouse, brother, roommate, etc. play too? Even if we live in the same household?
Multiple people in the same household can play as long as each person in your household meets the eligibility requirements and has their own email address.
What can I win?
Every game has a prize. These range from electronics to services. We have given away iPad’s, cellphones, subscriptions and gift cards.
How do I know if I won?
If you allow, you will receive an email each day telling you how you did in your game. If you won your game you will receive two emails, one saying you answered in the majority and one saying you won your game.
About the Questions:
What are the parameters of the questions?
All questions are experience or opinion based (meaning they don’t have a right answer). All questions have 2, 3 or 4 choices.
How do you choose the questions?
Some of the questions we come up with ourselves, some of the questions are asked by our sponsors and some of the questions are provided by you, the user. If you have a question you think we should ask, please go to the Contact page and send us your question. If we use your question, we will give you attribution.
If I have a question how do I contact you?
Use the contact form to ask any question you have. You can also use this form to suggest a question to be used.
Can I comment on the questions?
For any question that is closed there is a page for that question where you can add your comments. You can get there from the Stats page.
Can I see what the results of yesterday’s question was?
Yes, if you go to the Stats page and click on the date for yesterday you will be shown the results of the question. If you played that day your answer will be in Red.
How do I know what game I am in?
Each game will have title which is the date of the starting of the game. So if you game started on March 1, 2014, your game would be 2014.03.01. The game you are in is shown as your Active game on the Question page and can also be found at the top of the games page in the My game section.
What happens if there is only 2 people left in my game?
If there are only a two players left in your game you would still win if you answered with the majority and the other person didn't. Remember the majority is determined by all votes, not just the votes in your game. If you both answered the same way or you both answered in the minority then you both would continue on to play the next day.
What happens if I get knocked out of my game?
Don't worry if you didn't answer in the majority as you can start a new game immediately. New games start each day.
What happens if I don’t answer one day?
If you skip a day’s question you will be knocked out of your game. The next time you play, you will need to start a new game.
What happens if more than one answer ties for the majority?
If 2 or more answers tie for the majority, then anybody who has picked those answers is considered in the majority.
What happens if everybody in my game answers in the minority?
If all players in your game answer in the minority, then all players move on to the next day. It is as if all players answered in the majority and one of 2 ways you can answer in the minority and still move on. The other is if you are the only person to answer in your game to answer the question.
Can I switch the game I am in?
Yes you can switch the game you are in to the game that is starting today. You just need to tap or click on the Switch Games Icon and then accept the rules for today's game. NOTE: You will be removed from your current game. You can only switch games before voting.
How do I know which service (Facebook, Google+ or Twitter) my account is logged in with?
There are two spots you can find which service you signed up with. The first is at the bottom of the My Profile page. It is located just below the Update Profile button. The second place to find your login method is in the daily notification email. It is located just below the Go Play button towards the bottom of the email.
Can I play more than once a day?
You can only play once a day.
What are the rules of the games?
Each game has its own set of rules. You must accept those rules to be eligible to win the game.
